Our Commitment
Clinical24 Staffing Ltd recognises that its activities have an impact on the environment. We are committed to minimising that impact, operating in an environmentally responsible manner, and continuously improving our environmental performance.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and suppliers acting on behalf of Clinical24.
Our Aims
Clinical24 is committed to:
- Complying with all applicable UK environmental legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Reducing energy consumption across our offices and operations.
- Minimising waste and promoting reuse and recycling wherever practicable.
- Reducing paper usage by promoting digital communication and record-keeping.
- Reducing unnecessary travel and encouraging the use of virtual meetings and public transport.
- Procuring goods and services from environmentally responsible suppliers where possible.
- Setting and reviewing measurable environmental objectives on an annual basis.
- Communicating this policy to all staff and raising awareness of environmental responsibilities.
Energy and Carbon
We aim to reduce our energy consumption year-on-year by adopting energy-efficient practices in our offices, including switching off equipment when not in use, utilising energy-efficient lighting, and ensuring heating and cooling systems are used responsibly.
We encourage staff to minimise unnecessary travel and to consider carbon impact when making business travel decisions.
Waste Management
We are committed to reducing waste generated by our business operations by:
- Promoting a paperless office environment and digital-first communications.
- Ensuring waste is segregated and recycled wherever facilities are available.
- Disposing of electronic waste (e-waste) through licensed and responsible recycling channels.
- Avoiding single-use plastics in our offices where alternatives are available.
Supply Chain
We seek to work with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to environmental responsibility. Where practical, we consider environmental performance as part of our procurement process.
Responsibility
Senior management is responsible for ensuring this policy is implemented and reviewed. All employees are expected to support our environmental objectives and report any environmental concerns to their line manager.
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated to reflect changes in legislation, business activity, or best practice.
